Τhe main restaurant is a shaded, high ceiling building resembling a contemporary minimal version of an ancient Greek temple inline with the whole acropolis concept that dominates the hotel. The interior dressed in marble and defined by floor to ceiling windows that maximize the sweeping view to the sea, is coupled with a breezy outdoor dining terrace. On fair weather, the windowsslide away to concealment; the indoor space becomes gracefully integrated with the outdoors, offering a variety of dining locations.
Two large see-through fireplaces amidst the dining space warm up the area during the cool days, while the glass façade on threesides of the building produces a contrast feeling of a non-confined, outdoor experience. The lounge bar, while enjoying an equally breathtakingview, is ideal for an aperitif and relaxation. The same principle is found here; two cornered glass façades expose the interior to thesurrounding terraces and the scenery beyond; on hot summer days and nights the automated glass partitions vanish away, providing aperfect unison of interior spaces with the terraces. Sitting areas are arranged around two large fireplaces for the cool weather days. Largeloungers spread in and around offer uncompromised lush relaxation.
The sunk-in bar counter discreetly lies in the middle of the space underan equally wide linear skylight, which lets in ample natural light and makes the bar an attractive place to lounge around. As a special outdoorfeature, the long reflection pond that runs between the restaurant and the lounge bar is intercepted by a seemingly floating wide circularterrace at the west end of the acropolis complex. Guests there, while seated around a prominently central fire pit for dinner or drink, enjoyfull-bodied majestic sunsets.
