Sources of inspiration for the design of the Italian Restaurant “Fusco” were both its advantageous position and the desire to createa restaurant with a specific identity.
Located on an enchanting beach, “Fusco” restaurant was turned into a modern dynamicspace with clear architectural character hosting delicious Italian flavors and dishes created by “Michelin Star-Awarded Chef” AndreaFusco. The interior space expands into an equally dynamic outdoor space overlooking the Toroneos gulf.
‘Smart’ decoration, clear plain lines, white color and high quality materials are the design features prevailing. The space is further complemented with woodenconstructions, white-brick walls, wooden linear suspended ceiling and the essential mobile equipment.Special emphasis was placed on illumination, as a highly significant design parameter promoting the texture of different materials. Recessedlighting techniques feature the architectural qualities of the restaurant, while at the same time creating a particularly warm atmosphere.
Asense of visual continuum and communication between the interior and the exterior is created in the architectural view composition, throughthe large openings. Ample outdoor spaces, sheltered with special wooden constructions and mobile tents, provide sufficient shade and attributea particular character to the restaurant. Single white coloring instils a sense of calmness, tranquility, comfort and luxury, while thewood -as prevalent element- radiates unique warmth and coziness.
Taste and vision are stimulated simultaneously, interact harmoniously in a restaurant space with particular architectural elements and surfaces, composing an ambiance of exquisite quality and elegance.
