Cabins Sleeping

Athens

At the foothills of Mount Ardittos under the shadow of the Acropolis on the eastern edge of Athens, in one of the many architecturally interesting areas of the capital, a model hotel unit was created amidst buildings with historical and architectural significance. South Constructions + Design team combined colors, textures, and materials in order to help the quests to discover elements of the place and decrypt them during their exploration of Athens.

The need to get to know the place and start developing feelings of intimacy is born, and a journey is ready to begin. The maritime and agricultural geography of old Athens has now been presented to the visitor. The alternating shades of blue in the sky and green of the olive trees are everywhere in the space, creating a sense of familiarity for the place that hosts you. Elements of seafaring, urban life, and agriculture are presented to the visitor upon entering the space, but at the same time, they deliver them to the embrace of the historic center of Athens upon departure.
