Roche Hellas
in Maroussi
Radical reconstruction and refurbishing of headquarters
The project includes the complete reconstruction of the building, the implementation of internal arrangements, the total change of views and the functional unification of the premises through the opening of interior atrium spaces. At the same time, under Roche's specifications, it was foreseen to reduce energy consumption by the installation of passive shading systems and natural cooling techniques (e.g. tilated façade), advanced frames with triple-glass panes, external automatic shading blinds, and cutting-edge electromechanical installations of high-efficiency and low-consumption.
With a view to enhancing the well-being of employees and creating a user-friendly working environment, advanced methods of air conditioning and ventilation are introduced, external glass pane surfaces are increased to maximize the surface of natural lighting whilst the shading system is connected to a weather station, to protect against overheating in the interior.
