Bali, Rethymno

Bali is a tourist resort in the prefecture of Rethymno. Located in an area of Crete where bright light and earthy shades dominate. The landscape of the plot led to the architectural approach of the two houses, which are developed on two levels and follow the natural slope of the ground. The main goal of the design was the interaction of the interior design with the exterior design and the simultaneous preservation of privacy, through filters that allow natural light to penetrate.

The main goal of the architectural design was also the interaction between the materials, colors, and textures. The principal color circulates in a uniform light shade both inside and outside the buildings, while the natural materials used, such as wood, harmoniously accompany the clean shapes of the construction.
