Villa on the Coast of Ftelia, in Mykonos

The villa is located on the slopes of Ftelia in Mykonos on an impressive relief decorated with old dry stone. The central theme of the architectural design is influenced by early “open air” farm houses of Mykonian “Villages” that featured a central courtyard.

The intended benefit of the design chosen is protection from the strong Northern Winds allowing the inhabitants to enjoy the courtyard during the majority of the day.

In stark contrast to the dry landscape, the reflections, tranquil sounds, and deep green hues of the pool water emphasize the intimacy of the courtyard settings.
