Τheta Hotel, Pelion

Hotel THETA constructed strictly following the conditions of traditional building settlements of Pelion. It is built at a point that offers unobstructed views to the visitor ,from  one hand at the blue Aegean and on the other hand at the green mountain. It consists of two buildings with three levels each. Connection is achieved  external with wooden pergola and internal with underground corridor. For the construction we used building materials from the Pelion region such as natural stone, stone plates for the roofs and chestnut wood .Special attention devoted to insulate the exterior masonry  and sound insulation for internal partition walls. Indoors, the emphasis was given on comfort and usability so  guests stay be content and in tune with modern requirements. Furnishing and room decoration followed simple and harmonious lines , while the bathrooms were decorated with tiles of various styles whose continuity is interrupted by a strip decor tiles , which breaks the monotony of uniformity . In every bathroom they fit different materials such as glass , stainless steel, chestnut wood , porcelain , creating a single visual effect that does not tire nor causes .

In the central hall offered breakfast and meals and also located hotel’s living room. Walls are structured of prominent marble stone, while the connecting joint is open shade so contrasting with the dark floors and create visual roominess.

Coming out of the main hall , we find the large terrace that connects the restaurant with courtyard creating a patio seating area which overlooks the Aegean. A wooden pergola that embraces the open patio offers shade to habitués during the hot days of summer. Just below the terrace extends the exterior area of the resort that has as  main element the outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lawn and ornamental trees and shrubs forming a natural fence .
