House in Holargos

This renovation focuses on the main everyday spaces of an existing apartment: entrance, kitchen, dining and living area, aiming at the unification of the kitchen with the living area, the creation of multi-purpose storage areas and an overall update on the existing style of the apartment, in order to meet client’s needs and aesthetics.

Starting from the entrance, a custom-made closet with a bench area rotates and merges with the kitchen cabinets, giving a feeling of continuity and creating a path. Furthermore, the existing floor is maintained and is extended in the new kitchen area in order to enhance the openplan design. The unique detail that shows off, is the new ceramic floor that is made around the kitchen island by the same material, so as to delineate it and to give an illusion of its expansion in space. In general, the full redesign of the kitchen area exceeds the functional and storage needs that might occur and the soft colors with the wooden touches manage to integrate it with the rest of the house.
