House in Ekali

This two-story private house, with the air of an American high-end residence, features an abstract, classical style, consistent with its upscale suburban location. Following the bending contours of the property, the building is symmetrically configured at a slight angle, gently embracing the view towards the garden and pool area. 

The main entrance is located at the end of the right building wing, leading to a circular hall with a grand staircase, under a modern chandelier; the entrance hall, doused in natural light from above, leads to a sequence of formal and informal lounge and dining rooms. The principal axis of organization, mirroring both wings, crosses the dining hall and fireplace through the main lounge, leading outwards to the garden under an imposing, wooden pergola. Along this axis, the building becomes transparent, with ample, wooden openings.
