Aposperia Karpathos
Overlooking the deep Aegean blue, in an untouched area of Karpathos called Katodio, a new hospitality development designed and built by A&M, is now ready to welcome its guests. With a brand identity bringing memories for the owners of this place, the new hotel, takes the name Aposperia, reminiscences family moments from the Karpathian tradition, while representing one of the most intimate actions of daily Karpathian life, the evening gatherings.
On a rough topography in Katodio, 3 villas are designed in an amphitheatrical setting following the natural landscape while offering panoramic views to the sea. With a traditional architectural scale, the villas allow for outdoor spaces in between volumes while safeguarding each suite’s privacy.
