MINOIS
luxury boutique hotel
Paros
The MINOIS hotel comprises various small and large buildings, with a total area of 2,750 sq.m., that imitate a small Cycladic settlement. Their white scattered volumes and free-form paths provide an excellent backdrop for the realisation of the established design concept. The central design theme, which guided the choice and application of materials, objects, colour schemes, unique constructions, plant choices, among others, was the Mediterranean.
Elements, textures, and colours are carefully chosen, combined, and presented as a cohesive whole - a fusion of features from the regions surrounding the Mediterranean. These areas range from North Africa to Southern Europe and Western Asia, with Greece and Cycladic architecture serving as the central inspiration and driving force. The objective of the design was to seamlessly integrate and coexist the hotel along with its other services and amenities with the rocky, hilly, and gently sloping natural terrain and landscape of the area.
