Dental Clinic

Τhe dental clinic is located in Athens, close to the Athenian Concert Hall, at the junction of Vassilisis Sofias street with Aiginitou street. The clinic’s total area is 70 square meters. The dental practice’s expertise is endodontics, so the patient that enters the office, usually, has a disturbing feeling of anxiety.

The main concept of the design is to create a scenographic space which has the ability to bring the patient closer to nature, even with the use of artificial means (colors-textures-lighting). This space will have a positive effect upon the patient and will ease the anxiety that he’s feeling. The selected materials are stone, forged cement and warm-colored wood combined with friendly gestures during the plan’s and section’s design (vaulted ceiling, furniture with axes of movement around them).
