Apartment
in Athens
Minas Kosmidis Architects were asked to design the interior of a 90 sqm apartment in Voula, Athens. The proposal is tailored to the needs of a single man, following his aesthetics and philosophy. The entrance to the apartment leads to the living room and kitchen, which are organised in an open layout, while a long corridor leads to the bedrooms, which are designed in a more secluded zone.
To provide additional shade and create extra space, sliding panels are placed in front of the openings in the living area and can be moved at will. British style and an eclectic disposition characterise the aesthetic approach of the apartment.
The wooden floor, combined with marble surfaces, metallic elements, different textures and wallpapers, summarise the material palette. The selection of artworks and the lighting create a space with a distinctive atmosphere that emanates the aura of the owner.
