Black Adder

Black adder is new all day café bar restaurant located in the center of Rhodes Island, in Greece, in the Theodoraki pedestrian street designed by Aien 1:1 architects.

The design of the space- the colors, the rough materials with the patina of the age on them, the textures- is inspired by its name.

The façade and the ceiling where a wooden snake construction crawls create the sense of a continuous motion replicating the curve shaped movement of the black adder.

The space soaked up with mysticism exuding a dark atmosphere within the context of a modern design approach and the use of special structures. While the extroversion of the façade where there is no line between the outside and the inside and the open kitchen brings a balance forming a friendly environment.
