Domes Novos Santorini

Domes Novos Santorini

Domes opened its inaugural hotel on the island welcoming families,

couples and solo travelers.

The site is located in the region of Tholos, Oia in Santorini, on the main road and it’s approximately 300 meters away from the sea and 500 from Oia. It has a surface area of 17093.17m2 and its geomorphology presents slight inclines. The North side offers an exquisite view towards the Aegean Sea and the islands of Ios, Sikinos and Folegandros.

The buildings are developed on one floor, following the relief of the ground and gently adapting to it. There are 52 apartments in total, of which 4 are suites and 2 apartments designed for the accommodation of people with mobility difficulties. The communal areas section, includes reception areas, a restaurant, shops and a spa. There is also an outdoor central pool.

A parameter that defined the architectural design was the need for unobstructed view of each apartment towards the sea, while simultaneously utilizing the volumes of the buildings to shield against the strong, northern winds which are a common occurrence during the summer months.
