The Hotel’s concept focuses on the element of discovery through all of one’s senses, deriving from the Ancient Greek definition of the word OMMA (ὄμμᾰ), being vision. Contemporary yet timeless, OMMA reflects a philosophy of sophisticated aesthetics, while its unique location at Imerovigli offers spectacular 360-degree views of both the Caldera and the Aegean Sea.Embracing the concept of contemporary minimalism, colors, shapes and fabrics eschew exaggeration and quantity, composing clean-cut spaces, balancing aesthetics and function, while producing luxury and elegance. The extensive use of the white layer from which the black rock emerges, black oak and marble, combined with the almost natural raw materials, achieve coherence with the natural environment of Santorini, largely defined by lava and ash.
The monochromatic palette and the plastic forms, that highlight a morphological reference to the island’s landscape, prevail. The black and grey elements excluded through the white surfaces creating intense contrasts result in fluid spaces that sculpturally unfold in a tight-knit sequence, always inextricably linked to the magnificent view of the sea and horizon.OMMA Santorini consists of thirty rooms and suites, most of which have a private pool.
Twenty of them are organized amphitheatrically around the element of water, which visually continues in the endless blue of the sea. The various typology of rooms offers options for all kind of needs, providing different spatial qualities, luxurious amenities and possibilities. Pointing towards the west, rooms bask in the magnificent sunset from both indoors and outdoors.
