Protypo Dialysis Center Patras

The project concerns the construction of a new building, with an area of 1585 sq.m., for housing a 34-bed Chronic Dialysis Unit in the area of Aktaio in Patras. The design goal is to harmonize the strict functional requirements of the building program with the desire to create a friendly and warm space for its visitors. The increased slope of the ground, the derivative shape of the plot and the necessity of easy identification and comfortable access from the adjacent road were elements that also determined the final architectural proposal.

Due to the increased slope of the ground, the building is configured as a single-storey building on the street side and a twostorey building on the rear side, with access to it from both levels. The internal organization of the building's sections was designed with the aim of clarity and simplicity in operation, both for employees and visitors.
