This project was focused on the renovation of an existing abandoned shell full of discordant architectural elements that were a bad mimic of traditional architecture of the Greek islands (arcs etc.).

The structure of the existing building was an erratic combination of stone walls mixed with concrete elements.

The existing house has accepted many unscheduled changes and minor expansions. Partial demolition and renovation of this house commenced, with the request of a contemporary house for a young couple. Our goal was all the claustrophobic spaces to become bright and gain natural strong light.
