Mezze Glyfada was created in 2014 by a group of young entrepreneurs being occupied in the field of food enterprise and decided to join their forces. This partnership and creative coexistence implemented to the creation of an atmospheric space which since March 2014 constituting a milestone at the center of Glyfada.

Having as stockpile the precious experience of Kastelorizo Group, Mezze Glyfada realized a fresh suggestion within the field of food enterprise with the innovative perspective that the new generation can implement. The team’s inspiration bestowing upon the Group’s new member a sense of warm and friendly environment while emanating a friendly atmosphere and inspires the feeling of relaxation and mirth at the same time. Al design and Alexandros Lavdas took on the architectural design of the restaurant focused upon the creation of a clean, simple and simultaneously timeless space experimenting with original and fresh ideas and colors.

The most discernible element of the space is the minimal country style aesthetics which reminds us courtyard of an old house as well as the impressive windows which surround the space. The colorful chairs, each one with different color and shape reflect the unique personality of each visitor who comes to join the companionship. The selected materials of high aesthetic value and resistance, both for the roof and the whole space, such as the wall surfaces are solid wood, screed, wooden vintage windows and traditional carved railings which have been carefully selected and being renovated reflect the atmosphere of intimate. The use of earth materials and semantic references reveal modern elements incorporating depictions of the greek traditional houses from the 50’s.

The vintage whatnots carefully installed within the space enclose crockery and utensils antiques, samples of the evolution of greek material culture. Each individual part of the restaurant has an absolute functional and aesthetical cohesion and worthily is one of the “mezze” type of restaurants with unique identity combining atmosphere and quality. 

A space predestined for those who wish to be initiated to the greek flavors under the signature of the Chef Mr. Nikos Fotiadis and want to discover new gastronomic destinations. A complete gastronomic experience which conjoin the field of food with the culture of flavors offering the choice among an extensive variety of greek mezze with wine or Cretan raki accompaniment in a clean and pleasant environment. The new name of pleasure has been found and the scenery has been already set. That is because at Mezze Glyfada there are no restrictions to flavors and pleasure.
